Indigenous Reflections
Work within a team of art directors, authors and designers to produce a wide variety of Indigenous themed products from start to finish. Provide layout, scanning, photography, writing, editing, traditional and digital illustration. Create product mock-ups for company website. Examples of design projects are calendars and planners, levelled reading children's books series, teacher's guides, workbooks, educational posters, language resources and gift items. My desk is located in the storefront where I help customers with sales and order pick-ups. Programs used are Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat and Procreate for iPad.

Participated in the daily or weekly production of: The Winnipeg Free Press, The Brandon Sun, Westman This Week, and The Carillon (Steinbach). Collaborated with a team of editors, page layout designers, creative directors, and technicians to proficiently provide newspaper editors with precise page layout designs. Met nightly deadlines with clear communication and excellent organization. Manipulated customer-supplied obituary/celebration photos, naming and filing files. Provided designs for in-house/customer banners and signage. Developed fresh look for The Brandon Sun (2023) with team of Creative Directors. Programs used were Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat.

Provided and developed customer service and sales skills. Was required to learn vast product art supplies inventory information such as product usage, quality, cost, and in-store location. Was involved in drawing window art in front of store for marketing purposes. Designed marketing materials for special events. Developed a joy for art supplies that exists to this very day. Excelled in fast paced three-year program featuring design fundamentals, logo design, product branding and marketing. Traditional inking and painting illustration styles were covered for commercial art. Digital commercial illustration styles were taught using a Wacom tablet a tool to enhance the design process. Also featured were web design and motion graphics. Received honour role award for sustaining a high grade point average throughout program.

Live Streaming Event Producer
Sargent Avenue Mennonite Church
Part of team that produces live-streaming services for events. Duties include video camera operation, direction of event leaders and scene transitioning via computer software. Programs used were Online Broadcaster Software, Photoshop, and YouTube.
Provided voice acting skills for one of the main characters named Armin in an online subscription animated production called Micah's Super Vlog. Duties involved sound booth use to provide consistent voice style. Read from script and took instruction from producer.
